Cosmetics production, including contract manufacturing on request, carried out in one place, guarantees not only the safety of product production, but also a faster and more efficient order fulfillment process.
GMP certificate is a guarantee of quality.
What is GMP certification (ISO 22716/2009)?
Every cosmetics manufacturer is obliged to apply the principles of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), which guarantee high quality and safety of products.
However, not every plant must have a GMP certificate (ISO 22716:2009), although having it is associated with certain benefits.
How does a certified plant differ from one that does not have one?
GMP-certified plants are subject to annual audits by an external certification body to ensure they meet ISO 22716:2009 requirements. We also conduct regular internal audits at our facility. Internal and external auditors rigorously verify that the plant’s quality standards are met in all aspects.
However, manufacturing facilities operating in accordance with the GMP standard but not certified are not subject to such audits. Their proper functioning is monitored by the Sanitary Inspectorate.
We are proud to hold an ISO certificate that ensures each product leaving Equalan Pharma’s production lines fully meets the stringent requirements in terms of quality, safety, and efficacy.
